Masked Guru

Bueno,tras mucho tiempo decido actualizar esto. Voy a comenzar con el cosplay de Masked Guru. Un gran reto que ha salido bastante bien.
Como gran fan de la saga de videojuegos Seiken Densetsu (Lengend of mana,Secret of mana,Sword of Mana,Dawn of mana,Children of mana...) Pues no me he podido resistir a los maravillosos diseños del Seiken Densetsu 4 (Dawn of Mana). Es ua pena que sea un videojuego tan desconocido. Es para PS2 y es super recomendable,tiene un sistema de juego bastante interesante y una magnifica banda sonora!

Ha sido un reto por que la documentacion de imagenes disponible en internet es casi nula. Apenas una imagen y alguna pequeña captura de pantalla. Todo ello me llevo a investigar y he tenido que comprar el super descatalogado Artbook del videojuego para  poner tener los diseños de Masked guru (y otros mas personajes que ni de lejos estan en internet,por desgracia)
No es un personaje principal,pero si importante en la historia. De hecho hay una stage en la que es el Boss con quien luchas.

Queria utilizar diferentes telas,pero sobretodo queria hacer un casco maravilloso con resina. [Mas adelante pondre procesos y tutorial]

En un principio lo lleve para Expomanga 2012 en Madrid. Y aproveche para llevar conmigo mi Contact Ball transparente,y gusto un monton! Ademas encajo perfecto con el personaje.

Como vereis he intentado llevar al detalle el personaje,y aun asi se me escapan algunas pequeñas cosas,que aunque el gran publico no aprecie,yo sigo notando que no las he hecho y que estan ahi. Y que son bonitas y me gustaria hacer.


Como es un traje que me gusta mucho,pues para otro evento que siguio,eel VI Japan weekend de Madrid, restaure algunas piezas que salieron un poco fail e hice algun complemento. Hice con silicona las orejas en punta elficas que lleva el personaje.
Y si no fuera poco hice con caracter mas escultorico a un personaje que esta muy unido a el en la historia y que es menos conocido aun,pero que mola muchisimo! Y quise jugar con el concepto de doble,real y no real...ya hare un post mas adelante exclusivamente para esto.

Asi que hice un molde de mi misma como Anise,para que me acompañara a la vez con este traje. Asi que soy YO DOS VECES!

Well, so much time withough update this blog. I am going to start with my Masked Guru cosplay. A big challenge wich results i love. I am a big Seiken Densetsu videogames fan Como gran fan de la saga de videojuegos Seiken Densetsu (Lengend of mana,Secret of mana,Sword of Mana,Dawn of mana,Children of mana...) I can't resist to the wonderfull artwork of Seiken Densetsu 4 (Dawn of mana). I'ts so sad that this game is so unknown. It's a PS2 game and i recomended it, i love the game system and it has a great OST. Here are some pics of Masked Guru



It has been a great challenge because in internet only are a couple of pics about him. I investigated about and i need to buy the very old and hard to find Artbook of the game to could have Masked Guru desings (and other amazing character desings that you can't found in internet) It isn't a main character in the game,but he is important to the history. In one stage you must fight him as a main Boss. I wanted to use different kind of fabric and make a great resin helmet.[I will post about the helmet soon]
First,i weared him at Expomanga 2012 in Madrid. I also bring with me my contact ball. It suits perfect with him!

As you can see, i tryed to make all the details as posible.And even that i miss to make some of them. A lot of people don't see it,but i know them and they are beauty to do.

So, i love this character, for other event, i fixed some problems and pieces and make neew details. One of them are the little elfs ears tha ti made with silicone.
And if this isn't enought i maked ,as more sculptoric piece,a character that is linked with Masked Guru. More unknown but amazing and beauty! I want to play with mirror and double concept,real and no real...i will post it later about this.

I made a mold in silicone of myself as Anise character,to wear together with this costume. So, you can see ME 2 TIME AS THE SAME TIME!
